Privacy

Small adventures. Thoughtful promises.

Draft for legal review. This notice describes how Nimuvai is designed. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before launch.

The short version

  • There are no accounts.
  • We do not collect personal data.
  • There are no ads.
  • There is no tracking or analytics.
  • Your progress is saved only on your own device.

What is stored on your device

To remember where you are, Nimuvai saves a small amount of data in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

  • nimuvai:v1:progress: the mazes and chapters you have finished, the crystals you have collected, where you left off in each maze, and when it was last saved.
  • nimuvai:v1:audio: your sound settings.

The button below clears your progress. To remove your sound setting too, open your browser's settings and delete this site's data (sometimes called "cookies and site data"). The app also keeps a copy of its own files in your browser so it can open offline; this contains no information about you.

Camera

The camera is used only if you choose to start the optional AR view and allow your browser to use it. Nothing from the camera is recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can say no and still use everything else.

Children

Nimuvai is made for readers aged 8 to 12. It is designed with children's privacy rules such as COPPA in mind: no accounts, no personal data, no behavioral advertising, no chat and no location.

Fonts

Text is shown in the fonts Baloo 2 and Atkinson Hyperlegible, loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download them, which may reveal your IP address to Google.
